This restaurant was recommended by the owner of the guest house we were staying at and we were not disappointed! Fantastic food excellent value and the staff are so friendly and accommodating. Price is very reasonable and the tiramisu is spectacular. Will definitely return when we are back in this area do not hesitate this place is a little gem!

The best gluten free I've come across in years... would highly recommend... very friendly and efficient absolutely no wait on food especially as everything is cooked to order... completely confident in their knowledge and handling of food allergies... perfect Birthday meal... keep up the brilliant work

Lovely little restaurant tucked away at the back of the street. Small downstairs seating area...I would say more for coffee tea scones etc but you can eat downstairs. Small eating area upstairs which is also very pleasant. The food was delicious. I had a veggie pasta and they changed it happily to my requirements and my other half had a tuna steak (i think it was tuna) with salad. He said it was absolutely delicious!! Although, it was served with 'Sunday lunch' veg, which we both found a bit odd. Staff were lovely, friendly and very helpful. It's also open in the evenings (apart from Monday) but probably worth booking as it seems very popular. Give it a try.

Best Cantonese food I've ever had. The staff were absolutely fantastic the restaurant was very clean. Not a lot of waiting for the food. Great. We will be back.

Excellent food and friendly staff. Well worth a visit. Correct prices for big plates. Grab an Indi beer Cobra or Kingfisher and enjoy a good meal.

We were both very impressed with our experience here. The vegetarian choices were much better than most UK Indian restaurants, and the food was really tasty. Highly recommended.

They advertise they're awards won, and they definitely should as their quality is superb, service excellent and menu is great to. We all have a favorite local chip shop, I cannot believe Carlo's is not better than most of not all!

Staff were really welcoming. The chips were decent, but it was the fish that sold it to me. The batter was light, crisp and not too greasy. Will be stopping by when I'm next in the area. Cheers

Interesting place!

Great food and atmosphere. There was a BBQ when we went, and the restaurant was very busy, with all tables reserved! They did manage to slot us in, just because someone cancelled last minute, so we were lucky. Portions were good for the price, and I merrily waddled away following a feast on some of their special smokehouse meat and Broad range of potato sides- I haven't seen potato skins on a menu for a long, long time! Great staff, too, with a really bouncy and friendly vibe.

I've been before and loved it, but my most recent experience of The Dirty Bottles can only be described as mediocre at best. On my first visit the food was outstanding. Ribs would fall off the bone, meat was juicy and tender, and all the flavours were complimentary. This time the ribs were a struggle to separate from the bone, the meat seemed much drier and less tasty, and some of the flavour combinations just didn't work. My starter - the spicy chicken fries - was mainly flavoured by the vinegar from a jar of jalapenos, which wasn't particularly nice. I opted for the curried beans with my main. I chose these as the pit beans I had last time were outstanding. I understand curried beans are perhaps not in keeping with the 'American barbecue' theme of most of the food, but I thought they must be there for a reason, and at this time was basing my decisions on the quality of the last visit. Curried beans should not be on the menu. If I had to hazard a guess as to how they were made, I'd say that some tinned beans had been washed, tossed in some shop-bought curry powder and heated. This visit was such a disappointment, and I hope it was simply an off night.

Two night stay in Alnwick. Went here for meal the first night and it was really good, so went on the second night. The meal was disappointing and not cooked as we had asked. Asked for a well done steak and there was blood on the plate and was very pink. We made a comment regarding this to the staff member serving and to the Manager. Basically they listened but did not really care. As they get so many customers, I do not think it matters if people are not happy. Very busy. Best if you book.

5 of us had a couple of drinks each and ordered snack size food. The food took ages to arrive and everyone around us was getting theirs. We had been forgotten . When it arrived it was very nice and a reasonable price. We paid and left. When I put my glasses on and looked at the bill closely we had been charged £4 for a drink we didn't have !

Went to the tower for a birthday meal there were 12of us and the service was excellent the staff were friendly and the meals were excellent would recommend to anyone

Standard subway restaurant. This was a small outlet so no toilet facilities. Got very busy quickly on the Sunday lunch time when I was in the store. Food and drink we're all of an acceptable standard.

Don't be fooled by the sign - this isn't a subterranean walkway but a fast food restaurant selling sandwiches of long bread with an interesting variety of fillings.

Beautiful place. It was worth the drive up to see the.Treehouse. We hadn't booked a table but was told there would be one soon as the staff were getting it cleaned and set. We were given the menus and ordered shortly after. The staff were very polite and courteous. We didn't have long to wait on our starters. Presentation was great but the seared tuna was a bit of a let down as it lacked flavour. Salmon and pork belly were to die for. We all ordered the burgers and chips. Most of my chips were left as they had been salted by chef but as I don't use salt they were over salty for me but the burger was very good. All in all a nice experience but maybe a little expensive for what we ate.

Brilliant and exciting venue. Very nice food. Quite short menu bit good balance and well cooked. Service efficient. A great and u unusual venue.
